Memphis Depay

Born in Moordrecht, Netherlands, Memphis Depay stood out at a young age in PSV Eindhoven's youth categories, the club through which he made his professional debut and quickly became one of the biggest promises of Dutch football, being the league's top scorer in one of the seasons. After establishing himself at PSV, he was signed by Manchester United in 2015, but experienced a difficult spell in the Premier League, marked by few opportunities and a decline in performance. The transfer to Olympique Lyonnais in 2017 marked the resumption of his career, with Memphis becoming the club's main player and captain for several seasons. In 2021, he signed with FC Barcelona, playing important minutes despite recurring injuries, before moving to Atlético Madrid. In 2024, he surprised South American football by signing with Corinthians, becoming one of the main foreign names to play in Brazilian football in the decade, with strong identification with the Corinthian supporters. For the Dutch national team, Memphis became one of the main strikers in the history of the Orange Machine, participating in World Cups and European Championships as a fundamental piece of the attack.
