Michael Laudrup
Michael Laudrup is considered the greatest player in Danish football history. An exceptional playmaking midfielder, he became famous for his passes of uncommon precision and elegance on the pitch, characteristics that made him a technical reference between the 1980s and 1990s. In Italy, he played for Juventus, with a previous spell at Lazio, before transferring to Barcelona, where he joined Johan Cruyff's Dream Team. With the Catalan club, he won consecutive La Liga titles and the European Cup in 1992, the club's first in the competition. Subsequently, he played for Real Madrid, becoming one of the few players to win the Spanish championship with the country's two biggest rivals in consecutive seasons. He ended his career at Ajax and in Japanese football. For Denmark's national team, he participated in the 1986 World Cup and Denmark's campaigns in the following years, although he did not play in Euro 92, won by the country. After retiring, he continued as a coach, leading Swansea City to the English League Cup title in 2013.
