Michael Zorc

Michael Zorc is one of the greatest symbols of club identity in German football, having worn the Borussia Dortmund shirt throughout his playing career. A skilled midfielder with keen game vision, he was captain of the team during one of the most successful periods in the club's history, in the early 1990s. After hanging up his boots, he remained linked to Dortmund, taking over the club's sports management for more than two decades, a period in which he helped shape the youth talent development philosophy that became the institution's trademark.
