Nadia Nadim

Nadia Nadim was born in Afghanistan and fled the country as a child following her father's death, seeking refuge in Denmark with her family. She began her football career in Danish football and became a Danish citizen, establishing herself as one of the main strikers for Denmark's national team. She built a career at prominent clubs across Europe and the United States, and is also recognized for balancing her playing career with medical studies, graduating as a doctor after ending her time on the pitch.
