Nico Williams

Nico Williams is a Spanish winger of Ghanaian origin, brother of Iñaki Williams, developed through Athletic Bilbao's youth academy. Known for explosive speed and dribbling in tight spaces, he became one of the main names in young Spanish football. He was a key figure in Spain's Euro 2024 victory with the Spanish National Team, and also won the Copa del Rey with Athletic Bilbao in 2024, ending a long title drought for the Basque club. His decision to remain at Athletic Bilbao, despite offers from major European clubs, reinforced his commitment to the club's philosophy, which uses only players developed in the Basque Country or surrounding region.
