Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Junior is one of the most talented attacking midfielders of the Brazilian generation of the 2010s. Born in Americana, São Paulo, he stood out from an early age for his sharp game vision, refined technique, and ability to score decisive goals in crucial moments. Forged in the youth categories at São Paulo and revealed by Internacional, Oscar arrived at European football in 2012 when he signed with Chelsea for around 25 million pounds. In London, he became one of the most valued midfielders in the world, participating in 203 matches and scoring 38 goals for the Blues over five seasons. In the Brazilian national team, Oscar represented the country in 48 games and scored 12 goals, being one of the highlights of the 2013 Confederations Cup victory in Brazil. In that competition, he was named the tournament's best young player and scored a goal in the victory over Spain in the final. In January 2017, he transferred to Shanghai Port in China in one of the biggest deals in Asian football at that time, prematurely ending his European cycle. In Chinese football, he continued to shine and became a club icon, remaining as a technical reference in the competition.
