Paulo Dybala
Paulo Dybala is one of the most talented Argentine footballers of his generation. Born in Laguna Larga, in the interior of Córdoba province, the striker is recognized worldwide for his exceptional technical ability, bewildering dribbles and ability to score difficult goals, which earned him the nickname La Joya — The Jewel. Discovered by Instituto de Córdoba and projected onto the European scene by Italian Palermo, Dybala arrived at Juventus in 2015 and became one of the most valued players in world football. With the Vecchia Signora, he won five consecutive Scudetti, becoming an idol for the Turin fans. Frequent injuries were the main obstacle in his career, preventing him from achieving even greater performance. At Roma, from 2022 onwards, Dybala was reborn under the guidance of José Mourinho, becoming once again one of the great highlights of Italian football. With the Argentine national team, he experienced moments of frustration before being part of the World Cup winning squad in Qatar in 2022, when Argentina won its third world title, and Dybala contributed with decisive substitute appearances.
