Reece James

Reece James was born in London and joined Chelsea's youth categories as a child, becoming one of the great products of the club's academy. A right-back with great physical strength and good passing ability, he can also play in midfield. Before establishing himself in the main squad, he was loaned to Wigan Athletic in the 2018-19 season. Back at Chelsea, he became a starter and was an important piece in the club's Champions League campaign of 2020-21, an achievement in which the club defeated Manchester City in the final. At Chelsea, he also won the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup in 2021, the Conference League in 2024-25 and the Club World Cup in 2025. He became the team's captain in 2024 and is a frequent presence in the England national team, although injuries have interrupted his run at different times.
