Renzo De Vecchi

Renzo De Vecchi was nicknamed 'Il Figlio di Dio' (The Son of God) for his defensive excellence, being considered one of the greatest Italian players of the early twentieth century. He played as a full-back and center-back, being a reference at Genoa and in the Italian National Team. He participated in World Cups and was the most respected defender of his era in Italy.
