Riccardo Calafiori

Riccardo Calafiori is a left-footed Italian center-back, developed in Roma's youth academy. He gained prominence on loan spells at Basel, in Switzerland, and later at Bologna, a club where he had an exceptional season in 2023-24, helping the team qualify for the Champions League for the first time in decades. After a successful season at Bologna, he was signed by Arsenal in 2024, becoming one of the English club's main defensive signings. A defender for the Italian national team, he competed at Euro 2024, playing both as a center-back and left-back, showcasing tactical versatility.
