Rivaldo was one of the greatest Brazilian talents at the turn of the century, standing out for his left-footed finishing and decisive goals at Barcelona. World Champion in 2002 alongside Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, he formed one of the most feared attacks in the history of World Cups. Elected FIFA's best player in the world in 1999, he also stood out for memorable spells at Deportivo La Coruña and in Asian football at the end of his career.
