Roberto Rivelino is one of the greatest midfielders in Brazilian football history, famous for his powerful left-footed shot and refined technical ability. He was a key player in the Brazilian national team's three-time World Cup championship in 1970, alongside Pelé, Tostão, Jairzinho and Gérson, representing one of the greatest teams ever assembled in world football. Inventor of the 'elastica', one of the most famous dribbles in football, Rivelino was also a specialist in free-kick execution, with a devastating left-footed shot. After retiring, he became a sports commentator and ambassador of Brazilian football.
