Romário
Romário is one of the greatest strikers in the history of world football, recognized for his efficiency in the box and his goal-scoring instinct. Developed through Vasco da Gama's youth academy, he became one of the main figures of the Brazilian generation that won the 1994 World Cup. After shining in European football, especially at PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona, Romário returned to Brazil and continued scoring goals at a high level until his forties, something rare in elite football. His signature move was the so-called 'cow goal', quick and precise finishes inside the penalty area. He ended his career as one of the greatest strikers in history, with numbers that still spark debate due to different counts between official matches and friendlies. After retirement, Romário pursued a political career, being elected federal deputy and later senator for Rio de Janeiro.
