Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, internationally known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho, is considered one of the most talented and skillful players of all time. Born in Porto Alegre, the attacking midfielder enchanted the world with his bewildering dribbles, acrobatic goals, and unmistakable smile on the field, becoming Barcelona's greatest idol in the Modern Era. His career reached its peak between 2004 and 2006, when he was voted the world's best player by FIFA in two consecutive years. At Barcelona, alongside Xavi, Iniesta, and Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldinho starred in one of the most brilliant periods in the history of the Catalan club, winning two La Ligas and one Champions League.
