Ian Rush

Ian Rush is Liverpool's all-time leading scorer and one of the most lethal strikers of his generation, scoring 346 goals for the Merseyside club in two spells. The ideal partner for Kenny Dalglish, Rush was instrumental in Liverpool's achievements in the 1980s, including five First Division titles and three FA Cups. His season at Juventus in 1987-88 was not a success, but his return to Liverpool proved that his talent was incomparable in England. Despite never playing in a World Cup with Wales, he is considered the greatest Welsh player before Gareth Bale.
