Rüştü Reçber

Rüştü Reçber is a former Turkish goalkeeper, one of the most respected of his generation on the European scene. Developed through Turkish football's youth categories, he established himself at Fenerbahçe and had a brief spell at Barcelona. With an aggressive style and commanding presence, he was a key player for the Turkish national team in third place at the 2002 World Cup and in the 2008 Euros semifinals, being selected for tournament teams. He ended his career as one of the idols of Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, and a historic figure for the Turkish national team, for which he played over 100 matches.
