Sadio Mané
Sadio Mané is one of the greatest African players of all time and an absolute reference of a generation. Born in Sédhiou, Senegal, on April 10, 1992, he revealed himself to the world through explosive speed, bewildering dribbling and composure in finishing. At Liverpool, between 2016 and 2022, he formed alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah one of the most lethal attacking trios in Premier League history. For the English club, he won the UEFA Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020, as well as the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Community Shield. With the Senegal national team, Mané wrote the most glorious chapter in the history of his country's football: in February 2022, he led the 'Lions of Teranga' to the conquest of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations — Senegal's first and only continental title — after defeating Egypt's Salah on penalties in the final. In 2022, he transferred to Bayern Munich, becoming the first Senegalese in the club's history. In 2023, he joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where he plays alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
