Salma Paralluelo
Salma Paralluelo is a Spanish forward who stood out in athletics before establishing herself as one of the main players of the new generation of women's world football. Before dedicating herself exclusively to football, she competed in the 400 meters with hurdles at the level of Spain's youth national teams. Revealed by FC Barcelona, Paralluelo became a key player for the team that won national and continental titles in recent years, combining speed, physical power and finishing. Her biggest international moment came at the 2023 Women's World Cup, in Australia and New Zealand, when she scored the decisive goals in extra time in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands and in the semi-finals against Sweden, helping Spain win its first World Cup title.
