Teófilo Cubillas

Teófilo Cubillas is the greatest player in the history of Peruvian football and one of the best midfielders in South America during the twentieth century. Called 'Nene', he was voted one of the 100 best players in the history of football by FIFA in 2004. He excelled in two World Cups — 1970 and 1978 — scoring memorable goals and captivating the world with his technique and game vision.
