Thomas Ravelli

Thomas Ravelli is the greatest goalkeeper in Swedish football history and one of the most iconic figures of the 1980s and 1990s. With 143 appearances for the Swedish national team — a record for many years — he was instrumental in Sweden's third-place finish at the 1994 World Cup in the United States, where he made decisive saves and stopped penalties in the quarter-finals against Romania. He played for almost his entire career at IFK Göteborg.
