Tita
Tita was one of the most talented attacking midfielders in Brazilian football in the 1970s and 1980s. Revealed by Vasco da Gama, he stood out for his refined technique, game vision and decision-making ability. At Vasco, he formed the historic attack alongside Roberto Dinamite and won the Campeonato Carioca and national prominence. He also had notable stints at Flamengo, where he became Brazilian champion in 1983, Grêmio and Internacional, becoming one of the rare players to wear the shirts of great rivals. Abroad, he played for Bayer Leverkusen, where he won the UEFA Cup in 1988 in a historic campaign against Espanyol, in addition to playing in Mexican football for Puebla. For the Brazilian National Team, he participated in the World Cup in 1978 in Argentina. After retiring from his playing career, he became a coach and worked at clubs in Brazil and abroad.
