Thomas Müller
Thomas Müller was born on September 13, 1989 in Weilheim in Oberbayern, in Bavaria, and grew up in Bayern Munich's youth categories, the club to which he dedicated himself throughout practically his entire career. He made his debut in the main team in the 2008-09 season and established himself under Louis van Gaal's command, becoming an essential part of one of the most victorious periods in the club's history. In the German national team, he stood out at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, where he scored five goals and won the Golden Boot of the tournament. In 2014, in Brazil, he became world champion with Germany. His playing style, marked by reading spaces and movement without the ball, gave rise to the term Raumdeuter, or space interpreter, used by himself to describe his role on the pitch.
