Wael Gomaa

Wael Gomaa was the historic captain of the Egyptian national team and one of the greatest African center-backs of his generation. Three-time winner of the African Cup of Nations (2006, 2008 and 2010), he led the Egyptian defense with authority and experience. His defensive solidity and leadership made him a symbol of the golden age of Egyptian football.
