Weverton is a Brazilian goalkeeper known for his long stint at Palmeiras, where he became one of the main names in the position in Brazilian football in the 2020s. Developed at Coritiba, he built a solid career passing through Athletico Paranaense before establishing himself as Palmeiras' undisputed starter, a club through which he won several national and continental titles. He also stood out for Brazil, being called up for World Cups as a backup and gradually gaining space among the country's most respected goalkeepers.
