Yann M'Vila was a French midfielder with great physical talent and technical ability, seen as one of France's greatest talents in his generation. He played for Rennes before joining Rubin Kazan and Everton, but never fully fulfilled the expected potential. Nevertheless, he was an important player for his teams for many years.
