Yann Sommer
Yann Sommer is a Swiss goalkeeper who established himself as one of the best of his generation in Europe, with notable spells in Swiss, German and Italian football. Discovered through FC Basel's youth categories, he became a starter while still young and won several national titles with the club. In 2014, he transferred to Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he remained for nearly a decade as one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the Bundesliga, standing out for his reflexes and security in ball distribution. In 2023, he was signed by Bayern Munich as an emergency replacement after Manuel Neuer's injury, before transferring later that same year to Inter Milan, where he became a starter and won the Serie A Scudetto.
