AC Milan is one of the most decorated clubs in the world, with 7 UEFA Champions League titles and 19 Serie A titles. The Rossoneri built one of the greatest teams in football history in the 1980s and 1990s.

History

Founded in 1899 by Englishmen residing in Milan, AC Milan won its first European title in 1963. In the 1980s and 1990s, under Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello, the club dominated Europe with Gullit, Van Basten and Baresi, winning three Champions League titles. After years of rebuilding, it returned to the European top in 2003 and 2007. Recently, it ended an 11-year drought without national titles by winning the Serie A in 2022.
