AEK Larnaca FC
Cypriot club founded by Greek refugees from Famagusta, one of the most traditional and successful teams in Cypriot football.
History
AEK Larnaca was born in 1994 from the merger between EPA Larnaca and Pezoporikos Larnaca, uniting two football traditions linked to the Greek-Cypriot community displaced from Famagusta following the Turkish invasion of 1974. The club quickly established itself as one of the forces in Cypriot football, winning national titles and regularly competing in European competitions organized by UEFA. With a passionate fan base and strong community identity, AEK Larnaca remains one of Cyprus's protagonists on the continental stage.
