Afogados Esporte Clube

Club from the interior of Pernambuco, headquartered in Afogados da Ingazeira, in the backlands of the state. It regularly participates in the state divisions of Pernambuco football.

History

Founded in the mid-twentieth century, Afogados Esporte Clube represents the municipality of Afogados da Ingazeira, in the Pernambuco backlands. The club has historically competed in the access divisions of the Pernambuco Championship. Like most clubs from the interior of the Northeast, Afogados EC plays an important role in the training of local players and in the maintenance of amateur and semi-professional football in the region.
