Al-Hilal Saudi FC
Al-Hilal is the most successful club in Asia, with an unmatched record of national and continental titles that places it among the greatest teams in the world outside Europe and South America. Founded in 1957 in the Saudi capital Riyadh, the club is the most popular in Saudi Arabia and one of the most traditional in the Middle East. With the expansion of Saudi football driven by the Vision 2030 project, Al-Hilal has become a destination for world superstars.
History
Al-Hilal holds the record for AFC Champions League titles with four victories, in addition to numerous Saudi championships. The arrivals of Neymar, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and Sergej Milinković-Savić in 2023 transformed the club into one of the biggest spenders in the global transfer market. In 2024, the club signed goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City, demonstrating the growing ambition of the project. Al-Hilal is the main rival of Al-Nassr in the so-called 'Saudi Classic', one of the most-watched matches in Asian football.
