History
Founded on February 15, 1915 in Natal, América Futebol Clube is one of the oldest and most successful sports institutions in the Brazilian Northeast. With decades of history, the club built its supremacy by winning the most titles of the Potiguar Championship among all clubs in the state, forming a passionate and loyal fan base that crosses generations. The Classic of the Crowds, the clash between América and ABC, is considered one of the most thrilling derbies in northeastern football, capable of paralyzing Natal at each edition. The club participated on various occasions in Series B and C of the Brazilian Championship, demonstrating competitive regularity above the regional average and revealing players who gained national projection.
