History
Founded on January 20, 1975, in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia, Aparecidense emerged as the sporting representation of one of the cities that grew the most in Brazil in the following decades. During its early years, the club competed only in the Goiás state championship, gradually consolidating itself as a regional force. The club gained national prominence by winning the 2018 Goiás State Championship, its most recent state title, surpassing giants such as Atlético Goianiense and Goiás. The conquest marked a historic chapter for inland Goiás football. Aníbal Batista de Toledo Stadium, popularly known as Anibão, is the home of the Chameleon and hosts the club's main matches in the state championship. With a capacity of approximately 9,000 fans, the stadium was renovated to meet the requirements of national competitions. In recent decades, Aparecidense has transitioned between Series C and D of the Brazilian Championship, establishing itself as one of the clubs in the country's interior with the greatest growth potential and constantly developing structure.
