History

Founded in 1924, Monaco won eight Ligue 1 titles and established itself as one of the most respected clubs in European football. In the 1993–94 season, the club reached the European Cup final, losing to Olympique de Marseille. In 2004, Monaco surprised Europe by reaching the Champions League final. The 2016–17 season was historic, with the club winning Ligue 1 and reaching the Champions League semifinals with a star-studded squad that included Mbappé, Lemar, and Bernardo Silva.
