Atletico Bucaramanga

Atletico Bucaramanga is a Colombian football club from the city of Bucaramanga, a traditional contender in Categoria Primera A, the first division of Colombian football.

History

Founded in 1957, Atletico Bucaramanga became one of the most traditional clubs in northeastern Colombia, representing the city of Bucaramanga in the main national competitions. Known by the nickname Leopards, the club built historic rivalries with other teams in the region and maintained a constant presence in the Colombian first division over decades. The club plays its home matches at Estadio Alfonso Lopez, one of the traditional stadiums of Colombian football, and maintains a strong fan base in the Santander region.
