Official B team of FC Barcelona, which competes in the Segunda División B of Spain. It functions as a bridge between the youth academy and the main team, developing young talents for the first team.

History

Barcelona Atlético was officially established in 1979 as Barcelona's reserve team, although second team training existed before. Since then, it has been fundamental in the development of players who later play for Barcelona or major European clubs. In recent decades, it has won various titles in second-tier competitions and has become a reference in the development of Catalan talents.
