Football club from the city of Betim, metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, traditional participant in the lower divisions of the Campeonato Mineiro.

History

Betim Football Club was founded in the late 1990s in the city of Betim, one of the most important industrial centers in Minas Gerais, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Since its creation, the club has competed mainly in the access divisions of Minas Gerais football, alternating participation between the second and third divisions of the Campeonato Mineiro, always seeking promotion to the state elite, historically dominated by Atlético Mineiro, Cruzeiro and América Mineiro. Betim is known in the region for its investment in youth categories, serving as one of the gateways for young talents from the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte into professional Minas Gerais football.
