History
Bohemians was founded in 1905 in Vršovice, a working-class neighborhood in Prague, and became one of the most popular clubs in the Czech capital, alongside Slavia and Sparta. In 1927, the club made a tour of Australia and received two kangaroos as a gift. These animals were donated to the Prague Zoo and gave rise to the Klokani nickname and the kangaroo that came to appear on the club's crest. The greatest title in its history is the Czechoslovak Championship of 1982-83, won with a generation that had midfielder Antonín Panenka as its greatest symbol. Since then, Bohemians has alternated campaigns between the Czech first division and the second division, keeping the small and historic Ďolíček stadium as its home.
