History
Bonsucesso Football Club was founded in 1913 in the Bonsucesso neighborhood, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. During the decades from 1920 to 1980, the club was one of the most consistent participants of the Campeonato Carioca, rivaling great names such as Flamengo, Botafogo and Vasco da Gama. General Severiano Stadium served as its home ground, hosting memorable matches of the state competition. The club won important titles in the Rio de Janeiro scene, establishing itself as a traditional force. Although it has faced administrative difficulties in recent decades, it remains a symbol of Rio de Janeiro's football memory.
