Red Bull Bragantino Women
Women's football department of Red Bull Bragantino, created after Red Bull's arrival at the São Paulo club, seeking to replicate in women's football the player development model adopted by the men's team.
History
Red Bull Bragantino began to exist under this denomination from 2019/2020, when the Red Bull group took control of the traditional Clube Atletico Bragantino, from Bragança Paulista (SP). Along with the restructuring of men's football, the club began to invest also in women's football, creating a dedicated department for this modality. The women's team of Bragantino competed in state competitions organized by the São Paulo Football Federation and, with the progress of its campaigns, also began to compete in the national divisions organized by the CBF, using the club's training center structure and Estádio Nabi Abi Chedid, the Nabizão, as the venue for matches. The project is part of Red Bull Bragantino's strategy to expand its presence in Brazilian football, replicating in the women's team the same concept of athlete development and valuing young players applied to the men's squad.
