SK Brann

SK Brann is the main club in Bergen, Norway's second largest city, and one of the most traditional in Norwegian football. Founded in 1908, the club has a passionate fan base that rivals the country's biggest clubs. The Brann Stadion, with capacity for around 17 thousand fans, is the heart of Bergen's support.

History

SK Brann won the Tippeligaen title in 2007, ending decades of drought and celebrating with great festivities in the city of Bergen. The club participated in several European campaigns and is considered the greatest rival of Rosenborg for the title of Norway's biggest club. In Norwegian football history, Brann represents the identity of the country's west coast, contrasting with clubs from inland and Oslo. The club developed important players for the Norwegian national team throughout the decades.
