History
Founded in 1938 in the city of Campina Grande, the club built up a historic rivalry with Treze over the decades, regularly competing in the Campeonato Paraibano. The Blue Rooster had participations in editions of Series C and Series D of the Campeonato Brasileiro, seeking to consolidate interior Paraíba football against the major centers of the state. Beyond adult male football, the club historically invested in youth categories, developing athletes for football in Paraíba and the Northeast.
