History
Castanhal Esporte Clube was founded in 1951 and became a reference in Paraense football, especially in the interior of the state. The club competed in several editions of the Paraense Championship, winning titles and consolidating its presence among the region's main teams. The Dragon of the Northeast is an important symbol for the city of Castanhal and surrounding region, keeping the tradition of Amazonian football alive.
