Ceará Sporting Club Women's

Women's team of Ceará Sporting Club, created to meet the requirement of the CBF that Série A clubs in men's football maintain professionalized women's departments. It competes in state and national competitions representing the black-and-white Ceará club.

History

The women's section of Ceará was established in 2019, following the professionalization movement of women's football in Brazil driven by CBF resolutions. Since then, the team has competed in the Ceará Women's Championship and national women's football qualifying competitions, also serving as a showcase for the club's academy players. Over the years, the team sought to consolidate its own training structure, with the objective of competing competitively in the divisions of the Brazilian Women's Championship, following the same management model applied to the club's men's football. The Vozão women's team is accompanied by a growing fan base in Fortaleza, reflecting the process of valuing women's football in the state of Ceará.
