Ceará Sporting Club

Ceará Sporting Club is one of the oldest and most traditional clubs in the Northeast region of Brazil. Founded in 1914, the club is one of the main rivals of Fortaleza in the King's Classic. The club won the Copa do Nordeste and has a strong presence in the main divisions of Brazilian football.

History

Founded in 1914 in Fortaleza, Ceará built a rich history in northeastern Brazilian football over more than a century. The club won the Copa do Nordeste in 1994 and has been a constant presence in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship in recent decades. The King's Classic, a clash with Fortaleza, is one of the most passionate derbies in regional football. Ceará has also accumulated dozens of state titles and is one of the most traditional clubs in Ceará state.
