Club Cerro Porteño
Founded in 1912, Cerro Porteño is Olimpia's greatest rival and one of the most popular clubs in Paraguay. With over 35 national titles, it plays the Clásico del Fútbol Paraguayo at the country's largest stadium, General Pablo Rojas, with a capacity of 45,000 fans.
History
Founded on October 1, 1912, Ciclón built one of the greatest rivalries in South American football against Olimpia. In 1973, it reached the Copa Libertadores final. It had legendary figures such as goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert, one of the greatest in football history, who defended the club with mastery and scored goals from free kicks and penalties.
