Club América

Club América is the most popular and successful football club in Mexico, based in Mexico City. Founded in 1916, the club plays its matches at the legendary Aztec Stadium, the largest in the country. It is known for its passionate fan base and for being one of the most recognized teams in North America.

History

América has won 14 titles of the Mexican Championship, being the greatest winner of the competition. The club has also won the CONCACAF Champions League several times, affirming its regional hegemony. In the 1980s and 1990s, it lived its golden era with world-class players and consecutive titles.
