Corinthians Alagoano

Football club based in Maceió, traditional competitor in the Alagoas State Championship for decades.

History

Founded in 1976 in the Levada neighborhood, in Maceió, Corinthians Alagoano quickly became a popular association among local supporters, inheriting the name and colors of Corinthians from São Paulo due to the founders' affinity. The club competed in several editions of the Alagoas State Championship, also participating in national access competitions organized by the CBF. Despite never having won significant state titles, it maintains historical relevance in Alagoas football due to its longevity and loyal fan base.
