Cuiabá Esporte Clube Women's

Women's department of Cuiabá Esporte Clube, created to meet the CBF's requirement for elite men's clubs to maintain women's teams, competing in state and national youth competitions.

History

Cuiabá's women's team was structured in the early 2020s, a period when the CBF began requiring clubs participating in the men's Serie A to maintain women's football departments. The team began competing in the Mato Grosso women's championship and national youth category competitions. Despite not yet having won major national titles, the team represents part of the expansion movement of women's football in Brazil's interior, also serving as a source of talented female players from the Center-West region. The club uses the structure of Arena Pantanal and Cuiabá's training center for the development of its athletes, gradually seeking to rise in the competitive rankings of Brazilian women's football divisions.
