Dorense Esporte Clube

Dorense is a football club from Sergipe in the municipality of Riachão do Dantas, a traditional participant in the lower divisions of the Sergipe Championship.

History

The Dorense Esporte Clube was founded in the 1970s in the municipality of Riachão do Dantas, in the interior of Sergipe, becoming one of the representatives of football from the Sergipe backlands in state competitions. Throughout its history, the club competed mainly in the access series of Sergipe football, alternating seasons in Series A2 and municipal competitions, keeping alive the passion for amateur and semi-professional football in the region. Despite not boasting major state titles at the elite level, Dorense is recognized as one of the historic clubs from the interior of Sergipe, contributing to the development of players and the spread of football outside the capital Aracaju.
