Dourados Futebol Clube

A traditional club from Mato Grosso do Sul, created in 1989. It regularly participates in Serie C and regional championships. Dourados is one of the main forces in South Mato Grosso do Sul football.

History

Dourados Futebol Clube was founded in 1989 in the city of Dourados, the second largest population center in Mato Grosso do Sul. The club gained state recognition throughout the 1990s and 2000s, winning several titles in the South Mato Grosso do Sul Championship. In the 2010s, Dourados consolidated itself as a permanent competitor in Serie C of the Brazilian Championship, competing for access to Serie B. The club is known for the strength of its supporters and for the development of regional talents.
